ARMY FATALITIES
(P.A.) BLENHEIM, February 5. Trooper Stanley Raymond Halligan. aged 20, who was severely burned when a Bren gun carrier caught fire during manoeuvres last week, died in the Wairau Hospital this morning. His mother, Mrs. M. M. Flynn, resides at Ikamatua, West Coast. (P.A.) WHANGAREI. February 5. Trooper D. K. Galbraith, of Rotorua. was fatally injured when an Army vehicle left the road and overturned yesterday afternoon between Maungataperi and Kaikohe. Trooper M. J. Hall, the other occupant of the vehicle, was also injured. Both men Were taken to the Whangarei Hospital, where Galbraith died this morning.
