CITY OF STALINGRAD
(Rec. noon.) RUGBY, February 5. A Moscow message states that the first meeting of the population and soldiers of Stalingrad for over v six months was held in the central square. Members of the political bureau, General Krushchov, commander of the Stalingrad army,' General Chuikov, General Rokistsev, and the secretary of the Communist Party committee. Mr. Chuyanov, were present. Mr. Chuyanov assured the meeting that Stalingrad would be completely rebuilt with the same assistance from the country as it had received in fighting off the invaders. Workers' delegates said that they were preparing for the earliest resumption of full armamept production.—B.O.W.
