MR. NASH ON WAR COUNCIL

(Rec, 11 a.m.) LONDON, February 1, The creation of a United Nations War Council with at least the four Great Powers sitting on an inner council to direct strategy was urged by Mr Walter Nash in a speech., He also advocated the establishment of a second United Nations Council to implement the four freedoms of the Atlantic Charter after the war. He said that the Casablanca meeting was important because for the first time the "Big Four" were working together.
