SHRAPNEL FROM BOMBS

During Army co-operation exercises on Saturday, an aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force engaged in dive-bombing practice was damaged by shrapnel from bombs released during a low dive. The aircraft made a forced landing. The occupant was uninjured.
