FATAL CAPSIZE

A MILITARY VEHICLE

(P.A.) WHANGAREI, This Day. When a military vehicle capsized over a hidden bank yesterday afternoon Captain George Eric Silk Brodie was killed. The accident occurred on the western side of the Parahaki Hill, Whangarei, when the vehicle was being tested. The bank was hidden by scrub and the vehicle fell eight feet, landing upside down with the occupants undernearth. Captain Brodie, who was a garage proprietor, was a returned soldier from the" last war.
