TWO AIRMEN KILLED
Two members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, both Wanganui men, lost their lives during a night flying test at a South Island air station on j Wednesday when the aircraft crashed. They were:— Sergeant Louis John Norfolk' Gumbley. (Father, Mr. C. N. Gumbley, 64 Bignell Street, Wanganui.) Acting Corporal Eric Courtney Bell. (Mother, Mrs. J. C. Bell, Springvale Road, Wanganui.)
