EXTENSIVE AIR ACTION
(Rec. 10„a.m.) RUGBY, Jan. 20. A report from Allied headquarterf in North Africa states that minor engagements continue in the Bouarada? and Goubellat areas. Enemy forces moving south-west from Pont dv Fahs penetrated about seven miles. One advancing column was attacked by
Spitfires. Our bombers * attacked*} roads and railroads about Tunis and' Susa on Monday night. On Tuesday' Flying Fortresses attacked the Tunii area, obtaining hits on industrial targets and railway yards. P3B plane? attacked a column of enemy vehicles near the Tunisian frontier, destroying! about 20. One enemy bomber and a fighter were destroyed on Monday night. . ' ' *' i': Allied heavy bombers attacked the harbours at Tripoli and Susa on Tuesday.
