SUNDAY OBSERVANCE

Comment is made by Nelson Palmer on the letter of "A Wellington Christian ' and Member of the 'E.P.5.," which urged the desirability of transferring E.P.S. drills, parades, and practices from Sunday to weekdays and Saturdays. "Would not such a procedure," asked Nelson Palmer, "interfere seriously with production and the acute problem of constant and efficient labour? When production is needed j today more than ever, surely it would be serious to interfere with the work-! ing week when Sunday can be so ideally utilised for the necessary E.P.S. training on the part of all, unencumbered, as it .is, with ordinary war production and industry." The correspondent also questions the existence of scriptural authority for Sunday observance. Another correspondent. "Hutt Valley Christian and Member of the E.P.5.," strongly supports the plea for Sunday observance.
