. ■ . ■ . -i ■ Christmas cheer found its way into J the Island Bay. Convalescent Home ! this year in, the-form of a concert party, which was /arranged, as in former years, by Mrs. H. C. Parsons, of the Wellington Hospital Ladies' Auxiliary. Items were given by Mrs. Gardiner, Mrs. Newman, Miss Natalie Wallace, Messrs. H. F. Wood, Isbister, Church,'and Brian Cook, Mrs. Howard Cook being }he accompanist. These items were much appreciated by the patients, who heartily 'responded by joining in the community singing and carols. Supper was served by Sister McKenzie ■ and her staff prior to the presentation by, the auxiliary's president, Mrs. Chisholm, of floral tributes to the entertainers.
