WOMEN MUST tAKE THEIR PLACE
The second annual business conference of 'the . Theosophical Women's Association was held on Thursday at the Theosophical Hall, Miss E. Hunt, Dominion president, presiding. "The Place "of Women in Nation Building" was the subject of, addresses given by Mrs. M. J. Forde, president of the National Council of Women, and Mrs. H. G. R. Mason. Both speakers emphasised the great'need for women to/take their place in nation building. In the planning for the new age, the elevation of womanhood was the redemption on which the world hinged, they said. The star of women must again be in the ascendant. High moral standards of life were her greatest jewels. These must ■:be used as a spiritualising influence in the building of the new world order. The cult of brotherhood must be spread by living and teaching it. v The officers of. the Dominion executive v/ere elected as /follows:—Presiident, Miss E. Hunt; vice-president, Miss M. Graham; secretary, Mrs. H. G. R. Mason; treasurer, Mrs. Ashforth.
