: -»■ (P.A.) AUCKLAND, January 1. | Restoration of normal lighting in tram-cars has been begun by the Auck- , land Transport Board on its own initiative. No instruction from the Dominion Lighting Controller has been received on the subject of public vehicle lighting, but it has been decided by the Transport Board officials that in view of the general measure of relaxation in lighting restrictions it was an opportunity to reduce the hazards that have existed on trams since the black-out was enfouced,
