MAINLY PATROL WORK

TUNISIAN CAMPAIGN

(Rec. 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 15. In Tunisia there is little news of land fighting, which is still mainly confined to patrol work, but the Allied aerial activity shows no signs of diminishing. The German High Command is placing still greater importance on retaining its grip on Tunisia. They have gained time to build up a considerable force, and are continuing to attack before they are compelled to fall back on the defensive. Paris radio quotes German military circles as saying that preparations are being made for a great battle for possession of Medjez el Bab.
