GOOD CO-OPERATION
(Rec. 11.40 a.m.) RUGBY, Dec. 15. Giving an account of his mission to the Middle East, the Minister of State (Mr. Casey) said in London today that the preparations for the move at El Alamein had been long drawn out because there were preparations for a move of 1500 miles forward. The campaign had gone sti'ictly according to plan, and was now largely an administrative task involving the complicated question of supply. .Mr. Casey thought that the co-opera-tion between the three Services was ihe outstanding feature of the campaign. Never before had the Army received such sustained and continuous support from the air, and the harrying, of the Axis sea supply had oeen an important factor in the campaign.
