BAR TO D.F.C.

Continued outstanding skill and success in aerial warfare overseas has resulted in a New Zealand officer. Acting Flight Lieutenant William Vernon Crawford-Compton, R.A.F., who has now destroyed seven enemy aircraft, being awarded a bar to his Distinguished Flying Cross He is a very experienced officer, having taken part in a large number of operational sorties.
