PRIESTS ORDAINED

His Grace Archbishop O'Shea recently ordained to the priesthood the Rev John Kirby .and the Rev. James Buist. who have both completed their theological studies at the Provincial Seminary of New Zealand, Holy Cross College, Mosgiel. The Rev. Father Kirby belongs to a well-known family in St. Anne's Parish, Newtown. He attended the Convent of Mercy, the Marist Brothers' School in tasman Street, and later St. Patrick's College. Cambridge Terrace, and Silverstream.

The Rev Father Buist comes from Blenheim. He attended Marlborough College and St.' Patrick's College, Silyerstream.
