SLOGAN SWEEPS COUNTRY

(Rec, noon.)

JOHANNESBURG, December 13. Field-Marshal Smuts's slogan: "I am going to fetch our-boys from Italy," has swept South Africa. A cross-section, of opinion in Durban, Cape Town, and Johannesburg shows that the iarmy is eager to help FieldMarshal Smuts bring back their comrades from Italian prison camps. The Johannesburg "Sunday Tunes" says that many are so eager to serve in Europe that it is understood officers and men in North Africa, including members of the First Division, have asked Field-Marshal Smuts to take action.
