SOLO SINGING CONTEST

The Rev. L. A. North acted as adjudicator at the annual solo singing contest in connection with Mr. H. Temple White's junior choirs held on Saturday afternoon. Competition was keen, and the results were as follows;— Girls over 13, first prize, silver medal donated by Mr. H. G. Meyer: Marion Farland 1, Nancy Galloway 2, Ruth Sunderland 3. Girls under 13: Pamela Boardman 1, Pamela Gibson 2; highly commended, Dorothy Ward, Margaret Neville, and Delysia Hills. Boys: Ron-ald-Milburn 1, Keith West 2.
