SHIP WITH SURVIVORS SUNK
(Rec. 9 a- m-) WASHINGTO N, Dec. 8. The navy announced that at least 130 persons were dead or missing after the torpedoing of a medium-sized United Nations merchantman which was carrying survivors of six other sunken vessels. The sinking occurred early in November off the. north-eastern coast of South America. ,
