The,;. Prime_. Minister of Australia, Mr: J. Cur tin, has received a cable from the International Red Cross intimating that the Japanese Government is now ready to telegraph a complete list of civilian internees in the Philippines, The Japanese Government is also considering the request by the International Red Cross regarding the appointment of prisoners' delegates in the occupied territories, including the Philippines, Singapore, and the Netherlands East Indies, and has promised to announce its decision on this request as soon as possible.— 8.0. W.
