FRENCH POLICE ACTIVITY
RUGBY, November 1. The Chief of the French Police issued a statement in Paris on Sunday stating that since October 13 the French police had started to conduct a largescale campaign against dangerous elements. Large stores of explosives, arms, and other destructive weapons had been discovered in French homes. The polico service had sustained several losses, yet its task was far from being accomplished.—B.Q.W,
