WARSAW FINED £40,000

LONDON, November 1

A fine of £40,000 has been imposed on Warsaw by the . Governor, Dr. Fischer. An official German announcement of the reason's for the fine says that in the streets the people of Warsaw squirt hydrochloric acid on the uniforms of German officials and officers. The acid-throwers; who- act very swiftly, have, not so far been discovered.
