The "Daily Mail" describes Britain's latest hard-hitting "attack" destroyers, knowns as the Lightning Class, details of which can now be published, as vest-pocket cruisers. The Lightnings, which are of 1920 tons, are a development of the Tribal Class. Their six 4.7-inch guns are mounted, cruiser fashion,* in three turrets. The vessels carry eight torpedo tubes, compared with four in the Tribal Class, and have a speed of 36£ knots. . .
