RACING AT WAVERLEY

GOOD FIELDS ENGAGED

A good deal of district interest will be centred in the Waverley Meeting, for the majority; of the horses engaged do their racing in and around this circuit. In the past it has not been unusual for Taranaki horses to race on the opening day at Trentham and return to Waverley for the second day. That, however, is probably out of the question just now. Excellent fields are carded for every event. Provision has had to be made for the Morton Memorial Maiden Race to be run in divisions.
