WEDDING

GIBBS—FARNAN.

The wedding took-place on*: May. 30, 1942, at the Sacred Heart Basilica, Hill Street, Wellington, of Isobel Frances, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Farnan, Levin, and Joseph Francis Montague, elder son of Mrs. Gibbs and the late Mr. Montague Gibbs, Johnsonville. The Rev. Father Griffin officiated.

The bride, who Was given away by her father, wore a frock of white taffeta and an embroidered Slle veil caught into a hale of whirl velvet flowers and orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of white; roses and chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Betty Burns, a friend of; the bride, wore hyacinth blue taffeta, with a veil to match ahd carried a bouquet of flowers ranging from palest pink to blue.

Mr. Phillip Myer, Johnsonville, was best man. Miss J. Milligan played the wedding march and appropriate organ music during the Mass. A reception was held in St. Francis Hall, where the guests were received by Mrs. Farnan, mother of the bride, assisted by Mrs. Gibbs, the bridegroom's mother.

Mr. and Mrs. F. Gibbs . afterwards left for the north.
