SERVICEMEN'S CLUBS
SOLDIER'S APPRECIATION OF A.N.A; HOSPITALITY
An Arniy serviceman, who wishes to remain anonymous, presented the A.N.A* Club with a substantial, monetary donation last week as an expression of his appreciation of the many acts of kindness and consideration shown to feUow-servicemen by : t the club and its helpers. During the week dance music was provided by Sergeant-bMajor T. KirkBurnnand, Pte. .B. Staples,^*Mesdames J. L. Allen and Dickson, and .Miss. L. Chalker. Yesterday Miss§y, .Heather Wjri'gh.t entertained with a tap acrobatic dance, her accompanist being Miss Noeline Thomson. Hampers and other gifts were .received from the Patea Women's Home Guard, the Masterton Women's Welfare League^ the Hawera W.W.S.A., Waipoapoa Station, Havelock i North, Tuturumuri residents, Martinborough. Pahautanui branch' W.D.F.U., Whenuakura Dairy Company, arid'J. H. Walker and Sons,-.Ha-wera. The club also appreciated . the
