A VICHY REPORT
REPULSE OF BRITISH ATTACK IN MADAGASCAR LONDON, September 27. According to Vichy radio, British forces in Madagascar, after heavy artillery fire, attacked French positions 25 miles from the capital, Antananarivo. French troops, after sgveral hours' resistance, repulsed the Britisn.
