FOXTON MEETING
BEING HELD AT OTAKI
There will be racing tomorrow at Otaki, the Fbxton Club holding its meeting there. . The only other fixture is i Geraldine, Ohinemuri having been postponed for a week. Faced with difficulties in respect to transportation, the Foxton Club wisely sought the transfer to Otaki, and the response from owners of horses trained handy ensures an interesting day's sport, though there is likelihood of the track being heavy. It has been impossible for the club to arrange for special trains to Otaki, and intending patrons from Wellington will have to travel by the New Plymouth express, leaving the city at 10.15 a.m. The return trip may be difficult, for with the exception of the southbound express passing through Otaki at 4.27 p.m., the next connection will be a mixed goods at 7.41 p.m. Horses who may be favoured are:— Trial, Stakes.—Ring , Scarf, Lady Spiral, Arctic Night. .
