PATRIOTIC WORKERS THANKED

The thanks of the Wellington Metropolitan Patriotic Committee were expressed at yesterday's meeting to the following people and organisations for money raised for patriotic funds:—To the R.S.A. for a street day which yielded £798 4s; to Messrs. Roberts and Millar, of the Public Service, for the organisation of the sale of comforts coupons, yielding more than £3000; to the Shandon Golf Club, for a tournament which brought in £21; to Mr. R. Ferkins, for collecting £57 16s 6d in the Ohariu Valley; and to the Victoria League Younger Set, which held a tea dance which raised £40.
