GLASS ON STREETS
The danger to motor tyres through broken glass was brought before the Petone Borough Council last evening by the Deputy Mayor, Councillor H. Green, and oh his suggestion traffic officers are to be requested to see that glass broken in collisions is swept off the roadway. Councillor R. A. Anderson said it was the duty of offending motorists to do this, and it was also a criminal offence to break bottles on the street.
