ADVANCE INLAND
TROOPS IN MADAGASCAR
LITTLE OPPOSITION
(Rec. 12.10 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 14. , A War Office communique states: "The advance inland of our troops in. Madagascar that landed at Morondava, on the south-west coast, is continuing successfully and meeting with little or no opposition. "On the road from Majunga to Antananarivo, Mevatanana was occupied, and early yesterday our leading elements were moving towards Andriba. "On the north-west coast our troops are making good progress southwards from Ambanja."—B.O.W.
