DAY OF PRAYER
Wellington Service
In conformity with the request of the King, a citizens' intercessory service, taking the place of the usual midday service each week, will be hel 1 at the Majestic Theatre from 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. on Thursday, September 3. The Mayor (Mr. T. C. A. Hislop), in making the announcement today, stated that the service was being held in the theatre on account of the Town Hall being unable to be used at present .through effects of the recent earthquakes. Arrangements for the service were being prepared by the inter-qhurch committee.
Fund Board, chief warden of the E.P.S., a past master of Lodge Otaihape 142, a life member of the Returned Soldiers' Association, and a foundation member and twice president of the Otaihape Club. He is A survived by his wife, a son, Dr. G. A. de Lautour, medical superintendent of the Northern Wairoa Hospital, and a daughter, Miss Jeanne B. de Lautour, Lewisham Hospital, Wellington.
