THE MOWAI HOME

At the ordinary monthly meeting o^ the Great War Funds Administration Committee of the Joint Council of the - Order of St. John and the New Zealand Red Cross Society, which was held recently, the chairman, Mr. E. C. Hale, reported that steps had been taken to value the Mowai Home and its contents preparatory to it being acquired by the National Patriotic Fund . Board. Returns showed that 33 patients had been treated at the Home during the month, 15 of them being servicemen of the present war. Maintenance charges had amounted to £315 17s 6d, and a claim has been, submit--ted to the Social Security Department. -
