OBITUARY

MR. A. D. SEABROOK

(P.A.) AUCKLAND, This Day. The death has occurred of Mr. A. D, Seabrook, for many years advertising ' manager of the "Auckland Star, aged 73. Mr. Seabrook, who had lived in retirement since 1936, was born at Melbourne of New Zealand parents,, and educated at a Christchurch boarding schopl and Scots College, Melbourne. After four years on the staff of the "San Francisco Chronicle" he joined the "Auckland Star" in 1897. He leaves a family of foubr sons and six daughters.
