He is the only New Zealand lighter pilot so far to receive i this group of decorations -which is held by leading aces. Wing" Commander Wells has now been withdrawn from operational flying for a period, and there is a possibility that he may make a good-will trip to America, but this is still uncertain. —Special P.A.
