PRESIDENT SEES STAFF CHIEFS

LONDON, July 28. President Roosevelt today had a long conference at the White House with Admiral Leahy, his new Chief of Staff. General George C. Marshall, Chief of Staff of the United States army, and Admiral Ernest J. King, Commander-in-Chief of the United States navy.

They discussed the organisation of a new staff system designed to facilitate liaison between the President and the chiefs of the fighting services.
