CHILDREN WGWNG AFTER

Concern at what seamed to be a growing practice to employ school children for1 various type's of delivery work after school hours was expressed at a recent meeting of the Auckland branch of the Society for the Protection, of Women and Children. In one case, a small boy was found to be delivering 401b cases of apples on a bicycle, and an appeal to the employer and to the mother quickly put a stop to it.

It was pointed' out that regulations were needed to prevent small children undertaking work beyond, their strength.
