AMERICAN WAR RISK FUND
(Rec. 11 aim.) WASHINGTON, May 18. The House of Representatives Appropriations Committee approved a 210.000,000-dollar. increase in the Marine and War Risk Insurance Fund. The committee reported today that the losses oi American ships already jxceeded those of the last war., and old the House that the insurance i.'und was liable for more than a ship »4aily at the pi-ese»t rate of sinkings.
