EAST HARBOUR BLACK-OUT
A black-out in the East Harbour districts on Sunday night, lasting an hour and a half, brought in every branch of the E.P.S. local organisation. The alert was received at 7.^5 p.m. and the alarm was at 8.15. The variety of "fires," damaged water mains, and communications kept everyone busy. From, 9.15 p.m. till the "all clear" communications were maintained by messenger. The local lighting controller, Mr. E. F.
