Concert at Ewart Hospital.
The patients, at the Ewart Hospital were entertained recently to a most entertaining programme given "'■ by Miss Esme Crow and her concert party. Among'-those.taking part were Misses Esme Crow, Hazel Martin, G. and V. England; D. Smith, D, Wyatt, ,E. Lane, H. Rogerson, V. Wilkins, Mrs. Turner-Cottier, and Messrs. R. Turner Cottier, C. Lindsay, D. Clark, and Master Alan Vann. How Women Can Help. Women between the ages of 23 and 45 years who wish to serve in military and public hospitals, and who, hold first-aid and home nursing certificates, are requested to report to the Commandant, St. John Ambulance Association, Vivian Street, or telephone 54-704, during office hours. Dance, The Plunket Society's recent "Vacation Dance" was such a success that, by special request of the many guests, the society is again organising another vacation dance, to take place in the Mayfair Cabaret, Cuba Street, on .Friday evening next.
