The latest tribute to Malta comes from America.
The "New York Times" says: "Mussolini thought he could occupy Malta in three weeks. A,year ago he. handed the unfinished taslt over to Germany. British and now American planes rise up to meet every attack, and the antiaircraft fire is the most intense in the world. Britain means to hold Malta to the death."
