The twenty-sixth annual meeting of the Wellington Returned Services Association will be held on Thursday, May 28, at 8 p.m. Details are advertised.

In the Suprenie Court today Edward Thomas Devine, 22 years of age, who had pleaded guilty to a charge of breaking, entering, and theft at Upper Hutt, was sentenced by the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) to detention for reformative purposes for twelve months on each charge, the terms to be concurrent.
