ON FULL SCALE

KILBIRNIE E.P.S. TRIAL

A full-scale trial will be held by the Kilbirnie E.P.S. Area 22 on Saturday afternoon, with all E.P.S. units in the city co-operating. The sirens will go at 2 o'clock, and the all-clear will be sounded about 3.15. During the trial a state of emergency will exist throughout the district. The Army and the Air Department are giving their assistance, and realism will be given to the local incidents by the presence of three bombers and three fighter planes, which will carry out low-scale attacks on specific objects. All units of tlie local emergency corps will be engaged, as well as the E.F.S., the Fire Brigade, and mechanical units of the works section.
