VARIETY CONCERT

A lengthy programme embracing a large number of performers was submitted by the Wellington Competitions Society in the Town Hall on Saturday night. Items were given by artists already well known on the concert stage and by others who have yet to make names for themselves. Dance numbers and ballets predominated, and the large audience obviously found the programme to their liking. Miss Ena Rapley was outstanding among the vocal soloists, and Miss Kate Jourdain's piano items were also a high light of the programme.
