SEA CADET CORPS

Last night at tht City Mission Commodore W. E. Parry inspected the Sea Cadet Corps lecently formed by the Wellington branch of the Navy League. He was met by the 0.C., Captain A. V. Hale-Monro, Paymaster E. C. Barber, the Rev. Harry Squires, and the Navy League _ üb-committee, Sir James Grose, Messrs. R. C. Addison, L. O. H. Tripp, Gordon J. Reid, and R. Darroch. The Commodore was piped "aboard."

Captain riale-Monro and Mr. Gordon J. Reid chairman of the Navy League executive, welcbmed the Commodore and thanked him for his visit.

Commodore Parry addressed the boys on a love of the sea and gave a vivid description of life on H.M.S. Achilles prior to the River Plate action and during the action.
