JOURNALISTS' MEMORANDUM

TO MR. CHURCHILL

LONDON, April 29. The executive committee of the council of the Institute of Journalists has submitted to Mr. Churchill a memorandum seeking his co-operation "in ensuring the freedom of the Press to v pur sue its traditional honourable task of informing public opinion unhampered by other considerations than those arising .from security reasons, and that the expression of views not so affected shall continue to be permitted freely and fully and nof.be subject to Government duress or threat of duress."
