NEW APPOINTMENTS
MANUFACTURERS' ASSOCIATION
Mr. G. H. Jackson, director of pro- ; duction for New Zealand, has resigned the position of president of the Wellington Manufacturers' Association, which he has held for nearly two years. The council of the association has appointed Mr. C. N. Cathie, previously a vice-president, as president for • the rest of the year, and Mr. N. W. . Thomas has been elected in Mr. Cathie's place. Messrs. Nelson Jones and R. H. Wil- •'■ Harrison have been appointed to the council; Mr. W. McLay has been appointed as an additional representa--tive of the association on the resident executive committee of the New Zea-1 land Manufacturers' Federation; and Mr. J. H. Whitaker as the associa--6 tibn's representative on the Wellington Chamber of Commerce.
