GERMANS NEAR BOULOGNE
(Rec. 10 a.m.) RUGBY, April 23. Attention is drawn here to one aspect of the British commando raid on the French coast near Boulogne. The spot was one of the most vulnerable points on the French coast, where the Germans might have been expected to have anticipated hostile action. In spite of this, the German troops were driven back and the coastal defences penetrated, and every man, with his equipment, returned safely — 8.0. W.
