SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED
Colin Richmond Climie, of Khandallah, has been awarded the. Turnbull Scholarship for being the former Wellington College pupil gaining the highest marks on the credit list of the University Scholarship examinations. The scholarship is £35 a year, and is tenable for three years at Victoria University College. Shirley Magee, who was dux of the Wellington Girls' College last year, has been awarded the Mary Scholarship of £20 a year, tenable for two years at Victoria College, for gaining the highest marks in the University Scholarship examinations among Wellington Girls' College pupils. The awards were made by the Wellington Colleges Board of Governors on the recommendations of the respective principals.
