The appointment of Mr. F. R. Picot as New Zealand senior supply officer in Australia was announced last night by the Minister of Supply and Munitions (Mr. Sullivan). For the past twelve months Mr. Picfctt has been New Zealand member on the Eastern Supply Group Council at New Delhi.

Mr. Sullivan said that Mr. Picot would assume most important responsi-

Mr. Inglis, who has been working with Mr. Picot in New Delhi, is to act as New Zealand member of the council until a successor to Mr. Picot is appointed.
