NORWEGIAN CHURCH LEADERS
ARREST ORDER WITHDRAWN,
(Rec. 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, April 13,
The Nazi leader in Norway, Herr Terboven, is reported to have ordered the Premier, Major Quisling, to withdraw the order for the arrest of the Norwegian church leaders who refused to co-operate with Germany.
The German news agency, reports that Quisling has established a Church Council, under the control of himself. The council will supplant the Assembly of Bishops and will include Norwegian bishops and also the Church Minister.
